The Theatre Le Colombier occupies a low-slung, former industrial workshop on the edge of Bagnolet. Its weathered brick exterior and large, functional windows mark it as a relic of the neighborhood’s manufacturing past. Since the early nineteen eighties, Julie Brochen and the Langajà company transformed this shed into a rehearsal and performance space for experimental theater. Actors often practice with the doors thrown open, letting the sounds of the street mingle with the rehearsals happening on the concrete floor inside.
