Rue des Fourbisseurs

The Rue des Fourbisseurs is the street where the city’s medieval armorers and blade smiths established their workshops. Its narrow path and high stone walls trapped the heat and the sound of hammering, creating a persistent, rhythmic clang that defined this corner of Avignon for centuries.
