This structure houses a famous confectionery, founded in eighteen seventy-two by Doña María herself. She created a business built on traditional Guatemalan sweets like coconut candies and milk fudge, recipes passed down through generations. The kitchen remains the heart of this spot, where copper pots still simmer with sugar, milk, and local ingredients over open flames.
