TREASURES ETHNOGRAPHIC MUSEUM

The Treasures Ethnographic Museum occupies a pale, ochre-walled building with a deep-set wooden door that sits flush against the sidewalk of El Calvario. Inside, the rooms house a private collection gathered by Guillermo Rodriguez over several decades. Rodriguez sought out textiles, masks, and tools from remote villages across the Guatemalan highlands before these traditional items disappeared from daily use. He filled these narrow corridors with objects that were once essential to the people who crafted them, preserving a way of life.
