The Mittal Tea House features a distinct storefront with a clean, modern glass exterior that sits in contrast to the surrounding older buildings of Lodhi Colony. Jayant Mittal started this business to move beyond the bulk commodity trade and focus on single-origin, artisanal loose-leaf teas sourced directly from Indian estates. He insisted that customers experience the raw leaves before buying. On any given afternoon, glass jars filled with dried tea leaves line the walls, and the scent of Darjeeling or Assam fills the shop.
