Beth-El Temple

The Beth-El Temple features a bright, stained-glass interior that sets it apart from the surrounding Casablanca streetscape. This synagogue serves as the center of the city's Jewish community, acting as a gathering place for worship and social events. Inside, the walls display scenes from Jewish history, crafted to catch the Atlantic light. Max Arbel, a local community leader, often spent his days here coordinating services while the neighborhood outside shifted through decades of change. It remains the most active synagogue in Casablanca.
