Mosquée Jamaa Chleuh

The Mosquée Jamaa Chleuh features a minaret wrapped in geometric zellij tilework that shifts from deep turquoise to white as it rises toward the Casablanca sky. Merchants from the Souss region built this mosque in the mid-twentieth century to serve the growing community of traders who settled in the city for work. It functions as a neighborhood anchor, providing a steady space for prayer amidst the constant noise of the nearby market streets. The mosque remains a primary gathering point for Souss craftsmen.
