The two pagodas rise from the waters of Shan Lake, one clad in gold-colored bronze and the other in white glazed ceramic. These structures date to the early two thousands, designed to evoke the history of the original Tang Dynasty pagodas that once stood on this site. During construction, workers discovered ancient artifacts buried beneath the foundations. A glass tunnel connects the two towers underwater, allowing visitors to walk beneath the lake surface while observing the fish swimming around them.
