The Tangxiaohong Ceramics Art Work Room sits behind a wooden facade tucked away in a quiet corner of Guilin. Tang Xiaohong started this space to focus on the traditional craft of ceramics, specifically experimenting with local clays from the karst landscape. She spends her days at the wheel, often layering glaze textures that mimic the layered limestone peaks visible throughout the city. A small kiln occupies the back area, where she fires pieces that prioritize raw, organic shapes over mass production.
