The Ashkenazi Synagogue features a distinctive facade dominated by three large arched windows and a central dome painted in deep blue with gold stars. Built in nineteen hundred by the local Ashkenazi community, this remains the only active synagogue in Istanbul established by immigrants from Austria and Central Europe. When the construction began, the community relied on a donation from the Camondo family to secure the land. The building serves the neighborhood as a quiet center for prayer and tradition.
