Known as the Cinaralti, or under the plane tree, this spot anchors the neighborhood’s social life. It served as a primary filming location for the nineteen nineties television series Perihan Abla, which cemented the cafe as a local icon. Residents still gather here to drink tea and watch the ferries cross the Bosphorus, just as they did when the show brought national fame to these tables.
