4 Cheyne Walk

historic

Four Cheyne Walk is a red brick house built in seventeen eighteen, standing as a pristine example of early Georgian architecture. Its precise construction date was discovered through numbers stamped on a lead rainwater pipe at the rear of the property. The exterior features an entrance framed by intricate carved brackets and Corinthian pilasters that have defined the building's facade for three centuries. While the house has seen various internal modifications over the years, it maintains the formal, elegant proportions typical of the Queen Anne style.
