This site, currently occupied by the Museum of London, was chosen as the prospective home for a world-class concert hall intended to serve the London Symphony Orchestra, the Barbican Centre, and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. The project aimed to transform this location into a global hub for performance and education, featuring a two-thousand-seat auditorium designed to set a new standard for acoustic excellence.
