Whitechapel Mount

You are standing near a site that once hosted one of London's most curious landmarks, a massive artificial hill known as Whitechapel Mount. For over a hundred and fifty years, this giant mound towered over the landscape, standing significantly taller than the neighboring London Hospital. While it is gone today, it dominated the eastern approach to the city, serving as a scenic vantage point for travelers and, occasionally, a convenient hiding spot for stolen goods.
