Entrada Court

A massive concrete sundial dominates Entrada Court, anchored in the center of the street's oval island. Built in nineteen thirteen, it remains the largest of its kind in the city. The developers of Ingleside Terraces placed it there to draw buyers out from downtown, banking on the idea that a sundial would lend an air of timeless, pastoral luxury to their suburban project. The dial still tracks the sun across the pavement, casting shadows over the quiet, curved residential streets.
