McKinley Square

McKinley Square occupies a quiet, sun-drenched perch atop Potrero Hill, situated at the intersection of Vermont, San Bruno, and twentieth streets. The park takes its name from President William McKinley, who died shortly after he was assassinated in the early twentieth century. It serves as a rare, elevated vantage point that offers expansive, panoramic views across the San Francisco skyline, the bay, and toward the distant peaks of Twin Peaks and Mount Davidson.
