International Art Museum of America

The International Art Museum of America sits right on Market Street, intentionally designed as a serene sanctuary in the middle of the city’s bustling Central Market district. When you walk through the doors, you enter an environment that feels disconnected from the urban pace outside, centered around an elaborate indoor garden installation. This space features a waterfall, a pagoda-roofed gazebo, and a treehouse sculpture created by artist Steve Blanchard. The museum opened in 2011 to provide a quiet, contemplative space and a platform for diverse artistic voices.
