Sweat Records

Sweat Records is marked by the faded, hand-painted lettering on its exterior wall that distinguishes it from the surrounding warehouses. Since two thousand five, the shop has functioned as a central node for Miami's independent music scene. When major retailers began closing their doors, founder Lolo Reskin moved her record collection into this space to preserve a local physical gathering point. The shop hosts live performances and record release parties, operating as the primary outlet for the city's homegrown vinyl releases.
