Carroll Street Cafe

The Carroll Street Cafe sits behind a weathered brick facade covered in layers of climbing ivy. Built in the late nineteenth century, this building first served as a grocery store for the families working in the nearby Fulton Bag and Cotton Mill. It became a neighborhood hub where workers picked up supplies on their way home. Today, the space retains that original floor plan, operating as a kitchen where residents still gather at mismatched tables to eat among the same exposed brick walls.
