The Parlamentarium is marked by a wide, glass-walled facade that curves along the street, revealing rows of brightly colored, suspended seating modules visible from the sidewalk. This is the visitor center for the European Parliament, designed to explain how European Union laws actually take shape. In two thousand nine, workers unearthed the remnants of old factory walls while digging the foundation, preserving a section of the brickwork that now sits quietly beneath the glass floor in the main entrance hall.
