Cinema Vendôme

other

The Cinema Vendôme sits tucked behind a plain, light-colored facade with a distinctive, slightly curved marquee that marks the entrance. Built in nineteen thirty-nine, the theater was once one of the most elegant cinemas in Brussels, designed with a focus on interior acoustic quality and sleek, modern lines. While many older theaters in the city were demolished or converted into shops, this one continued operating. It remains a rare example of a pre-war independent cinema space still showing films on its original site.
