Palacio Elguín

The Palacio Elguín features a distinct neoclassical facade with rounded balconies that curve outward toward the street corner. Built in the early twentieth century for the aristocratic Elguín family, this residence reflects the architectural ambition of the wealthy elite who settled in the Brasil neighborhood during that era. When the family left, the building transitioned through several uses, eventually housing a secondary school. Its ornate stone carvings and structural layout remain from its years as a private residence for the city's upper class.
