The black industrial silhouettes of the old submarine shipyard dominate the shoreline at Port Noblessner. This site began as a secret Russian Imperial shipyard in nineteen twelve, built specifically to construct submarines for the tsar. Engineers constructed massive concrete hangars here to protect the steel hulls from the freezing Baltic winter. After decades of military use, the shipyard fell into disrepair until private developers repurposed these cavernous halls into galleries and breweries, leaving the rusted cranes standing against the sea.
