Tallinn Creative Hub

The Tallinn Creative Hub stands out for its jagged, soot-stained brick chimneys that rise above the limestone walls of the former city power plant. Built in nineteen thirteen, the plant once provided electricity to the entire city, relying on expensive coal imported from England. During the final months of the Second World War, retreating German forces attempted to blow up the facility, but employees stayed behind to cut the fuses, successfully saving the structure from complete destruction before the Soviet army arrived.
