Old Fishing Harbor

The Old Fishing Harbor in Tallinn features a massive, rusted steel sculpture of a giant crane standing right at the water’s edge. This harbor served as the primary industrial port for the city’s fishing fleet during the Soviet era. Fishermen hauled their daily catches onto these concrete piers before processing them in the nearby cannery. Today, those same docks hold quiet yachts and rusted iron relics, marking the transition from a closed-off industrial zone to the modern edge of the city.
