L’Alpain

L’Alpain features a distinct, pale yellow facade and sits at a sharp, narrow corner along the Rue Courier. In the early twentieth century, this building served as a local printing house, where the hum of heavy presses filled the lower floors. Workers produced regional newspapers and municipal documents on-site for decades. Today, the space operates as a retail storefront, but the original structural layout remains, preserving the tight, urban footprint that once defined the heart of Annecy’s bustling administrative quarter.
