These gardens sit on a site that once hummed with the noise of industrial production. The nearby Grands Moulins de Paris were massive flour mills built in the early twentieth century, serving as a pillar of the region's economy for decades. As industry faded and the mills were repurposed into university buildings, the surrounding land was transformed into this public park.
