Variétés-parisiennes (emplacement)

The Variétés-parisiennes occupies a quiet corner of the Grenelle neighborhood, identifiable by its ornate facade of sculpted stone and tall, narrow windows that differ from the surrounding residential buildings. Built in the late nineteenth century, it served as a local music hall where residents gathered for variety shows and popular theater. During the nineteen thirties, the space shifted to screening films before eventually closing its doors to the public. Today, the structure houses offices, though its original decorative moldings remain visible from the street.
