Fresque de Keith Haring de l'Hôpital Necker

A mural of thick, black, wiggling figures dances across the exterior wall of the Hôpital Necker. Keith Haring painted these energetic, interconnected silhouettes in nineteen eighty-seven during a visit to the children’s hospital. He arrived with nothing but a brush and black paint, finishing the entire work in a single afternoon. The figures climb and hold hands, mirroring the movement of the young patients inside. While parts of the wall were demolished during later renovations, this section remains preserved in its original spot.
