SAGEM

SAGEM began in 1925 with a staff of just seven people. Its founder, Marcel Môme, was only twenty-five years old when he launched the company as a specialized mechanical engineering workshop. While it would eventually grow into a massive player in global telecommunications and defense, its very first contract was humble. The company spent its earliest days producing precision tools and components for the French tire manufacturer Michelin.
