The Tower of Figures rises as a cluster of white, stacked containers, twisting upward like a spiraling staircase made of industrial steel. Jean Dubuffet designed this structure in the nineteen eighties, creating a maze of black lines on white surfaces that mimic a drawing come to life. He imagined a place where people could climb inside his paintings, moving through the lines as if they were actual rooms. The tower stands as the final realization of his long obsession with immersive, habitable sculpture.
