Parc André Citroën occupies the exact site where the automaker manufactured cars from nineteen fifteen until nineteen seventy-two. Its layout follows a strict geometric grid that echoes the industrial floor plans once found here. The park features massive, sunken steel greenhouses and a giant captive helium balloon that rises above the skyline. During the final months of production, workers famously occupied the factory for weeks to protest the closure. They painted slogans directly onto the assembly line walls before finally leaving the site empty.
