Musée Bouchard

museum

The Musée Bouchard occupies a quiet corner of an old garden in Auteuil, distinguished by the massive bronze sculptures that break the skyline of the surrounding greenery. This space served as the private studio of the sculptor Henri Bouchard for decades. Following his death, his son moved the artist's entire collection here, including plaster casts and hundreds of tools, exactly as they were left in nineteen sixty. A heavy wooden door keeps the sculptor's daily workspace frozen in the middle of the twentieth century.
