Le Corbusier studio apartment

The apartment at twenty-four rue Nungesser-et-Coli features a glass-vaulted ceiling that spans the entire top floor. Le Corbusier lived here from nineteen thirty-four until his death in nineteen sixty-five. He chose this specific building in Boulogne-Billancourt to test his theories on light and open living. When he arrived, the site was a construction dump, but he saw the potential for a studio bathed in sun. He kept his drafting board by the window, watching the city change through that immense, curved glass wall.
