A single slab of concrete stands upright here, painted with a colorful, stylized face on one side and covered in graffiti on the other. This fragment came from the Berlin Wall, specifically from the border between East and West Berlin. It was gifted to Paris in nineteen eighty-nine, just after the wall fell. For years, it served as a stark physical reminder of the divided city, before being moved to this quiet corner of the fifteenth arrondissement.
