Tour Triangle

landmark

The Tour Triangle is a one hundred eighty meter tall skyscraper that sits at the edge of the Porte de Versailles exhibition center. Its design by the Swiss firm Herzog and de Meuron relies on a unique trapezoidal base that changes appearance depending on your vantage point. From the perspective of central Paris, the building presents a narrow, blade-like profile, while from the east or west, it reveals a wide, pyramidal silhouette. This intentional geometry was created to minimize the shadow cast on neighboring buildings and to preserve specific sightlines across the city.
