The Ukrainian Cultural Center occupies a Haussmann-style building at twenty-two Avenue de Messine, distinguished by the blue and yellow flag hanging prominently above the entrance. Originally constructed in the nineteenth century as a private residence, it became the cultural heart of Ukraine in Paris after the fall of the Soviet Union. In the nineteen eighties, the building served as the Soviet cultural center, but today it hosts exhibitions, film screenings, and language classes dedicated to preserving Ukrainian heritage within the French capital.
