Street Art Marko 93

landmark

A spray-painted figure by the artist known as Marko Ninety-Three covers the concrete surface here with rhythmic, glowing lines. Marko Ninety-Three developed a technique called light calligraphy, where he moves light sources through the air while a camera captures long exposures of his motion. He then recreates those fluid, electric patterns using aerosol cans on these walls. He began his career tagging subways in the eighties, but today he brings that same frantic energy into controlled, large-scale murals across this district.
