The Wall of Love in the Jehan Rictus garden features six hundred and twelve enameled lava tiles. Every single one of them displays the phrase I love you in over two hundred and fifty different languages and dialects. Frédéric Baron, a songwriter, spent years asking people from every embassy in Paris to write those words down for him. He eventually teamed up with calligrapher Claire Kito to assemble them on this blue-tinted wall, creating a permanent place for gathering scattered expressions of affection.
