The monument on the esplanade features a chrome Harley-Davidson motorcycle perched atop a massive, upright guitar neck. It stands twenty-six feet tall in front of the Accor Arena. Johnny Hallyday performed at this venue over one hundred times during his career, drawing millions of fans throughout his life. After his death in twenty-seventeen, the city renamed the plaza in his honor and installed this bronze and steel sculpture, creating a permanent site for those who travel here to leave flowers and mementos.
