Allées Jacques Brel

You are walking along the Allees Jacques Brel, a pedestrian and cycling promenade that stretches for over a kilometer through the center of the avenue de Flandre. This walkway was inaugurated in 2019 to provide a greener, calmer path for residents in the nineteenth arrondissement. It follows the central island of the avenue, connecting the place de la Bataille-de-Stalingrad to the rue de Crimée. The space was transformed into this dedicated corridor following a city-wide public consultation aimed at rethinking how people move through this urban artery.
