Au Gand'Brinus

The exterior of Au Gand'Brinus displays a weathered, carved wooden facade painted in deep, dark tones, making it distinct from the stone or brick structures surrounding it on the Rue des Bouchers. This tavern draws its name from Gambrinus, the mythical king of beer. Inside, the walls hold a collection of antique brewing tools and porcelain taps from defunct local breweries. A regular named Gustave used to claim the tavern floor was slanted specifically to help patrons roll their empty barrels out the door.
