Square Jean Moulin

Square Jean Moulin honors one of the most significant figures of the French Resistance during the Second World War. Jean Moulin was a civil servant who became the youngest prefect in France before he unified the fractured resistance networks under the leadership of Charles de Gaulle. He was arrested by the Gestapo in nineteen forty-three and died while being transported to Germany after suffering brutal torture. Today, his remains are interred in the Pantheon, and his name is commemorated throughout the country as a symbol of integrity and national unity.
