The Tasogare Coffee Stand occupies a space carved directly into the concrete facade of a nondescript Osaka office building. It features a narrow, open-air service counter that forces customers to interact with the street rather than hiding away inside. The owners chose the name Tasogare, a Japanese word for dusk, to honor the transition between work hours and personal time. A single, weathered wooden stool often sits by the entrance, providing the only seating for those waiting for their pour-over coffee.
