The De Posthumus Winkel displays a tall, narrow brick facade topped by a classic Dutch stepped gable. This building sits on the Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal and serves as a specialized shop for stamps, seals, and engraving equipment. Since the early twentieth century, the business has maintained its trade here, surviving while neighboring storefronts transformed into generic tourist souvenir shops. The interior retains the original wooden counters and heavy brass scales that craftsmen used when the store first opened its heavy oak doors.
