Szynkarnia occupies a building with a steep, stepped gable that rises sharply against the sky on Saint Anthony Street. This house survived the firestorms of nineteen forty-five that leveled much of the surrounding neighborhood. It operates today as a showcase for local farmers and cheesemakers from the Lower Silesian region. While the interior walls display century-old masonry, the wooden tables hold craft beers and cured meats sourced from small producers within a one hundred kilometer radius of the city.
