Yash Chopra Statue

A life-sized bronze statue of a man holding a film camera stands in the center of the park in Interlaken. This is Yash Chopra, the late Indian filmmaker who turned the Swiss Alps into the backdrop for some of the biggest romances in Bollywood cinema. Chopra used these mountains to transform the way millions of people viewed Switzerland. Locals donated the site to honor his work, and it remains a place where fans from across the globe come to pay their respects.
