Hanover Lodge stands as the only villa within Regent's Park that was personally designed by the celebrated architect John Nash. Completed in eighteen twenty-seven, it was originally intended to be part of a grander vision of forty-five villas, though only a small fraction of that plan ever materialized. The house displays the refined Ionic order, a classic touch from the man who also gave London Buckingham Palace and the Brighton Pavilion.
