Stepney Green Park stands on land that carries the weight of centuries of history. Long before it was a public park, this area was known as Mile End Green, a vast stretch of common land that served as a major gathering point for Londoners. It was here in thirteen eighty one that historic crowds assembled during the Peasants Revolt.
