Villa Bonita

Villa Bonita is the six-story Spanish Colonial Revival building topped by a distinctive, tiered hexagonal tower. Completed in nineteen twenty-nine, the structure originally functioned as a luxury apartment hotel for the burgeoning film industry. When it opened, the building offered a private dining room and rooftop solarium to attract high-profile residents. A young Francis Ford Coppola later lived here while working as an assistant to Roger Corman, and he supposedly wrote sections of his early scripts while watching over the Hollywood Hills.
